an embodied approach.
My approach to teaching yoga is trauma-informed and embodiment-focused, designed to create a safe space for you to freely explore the wisdom and strength that already lives in you.
Our work will weave together old and new ideas, a blend of yoga lineages and philosophy, mindfulness and body-awareness practices, nervous system and anatomy education, and the occasional dance party, designed to bring you into the present moment and your body.
Locating myself as a white woman teaching an ancient Indian practice of Hindu origin, I am committed to understanding and dismantling the appropriation and colonialism of modern yoga in my own teaching and practice.
